There was no surprise in Dandenong where 17th rankedUnited (3-11) was defeated by sixth ranked Rangers (9-6) 97-88 on Sunday. Dandenong R. made 30-of-35 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game, while Geelong U. only scored four points from the stripe. It was a great evening for the former international center Harrison Froling (210-1998, college: Marquette) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Guard Sam Davidson (190, college: Rogers St.) helped adding 32 points. point guard Liam Herbert (182-2001) responded with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Demarcus Gatlin (193-1992, college: SHSU) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. United's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Dandenong R. moved-up to fifth place. Loser United keeps the seventeenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Northern Force.
