The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Forestville Eagles as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Forestville Eagles edged 3rd placed South Adelaide Panthers in Goodwood 89-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of South Adelaide Panthers. Forestville E. outrebounded S.Adelaide P. 42-25 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forestville E. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Undefeated Mustangs (7-1) recorded its first loss in Maitland. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Hills Hornets (5-3) 101-86. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Mustangs. A very close game took place in Inner West between Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and Bulls. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles managed to escape with a 3-point win 82-79 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Bulls. Mason Bragg stepped up and scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. The best for the losing side was Zach Hudson with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks.
