It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in NBL One, but even now we can clearly see the difference between stronger teams and outsiders. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked North Bears as it allowed them to take a leadership position. North Bears defeated 7th ranked Lady Bandits in Crows Nest 91-82. The former international guard Jazmin Shelley (165-2000, college: Nebraska) fired 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Swingman Emily Simons (178-1994, college: Pacific) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Unique Thompson (190-1999, college: Auburn) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds for lost side. North Bears have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 4 other teams. Albury at the other side dropped to the ninth place with two games lost. They share the position with 7 other teams. Albury will play next round against Hills H. trying to get back on the winning streak. Norths B. will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Sutherland at home.
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Spireds (2-1) in Hornsby. Hosts were defeated by Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (3-0) 80-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Spireds. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jayda Jansen (175-2000, college: Toledo) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Alex Delaney contributed with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Ruby Perkins (178-2007) replied with 26 points and 6 assists for Hornsby S.Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have a solid three-game winning streak. Manly Warr. SE keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Hornsby S. at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with 10 other teams. Manly Warr. SE will play against Inner WB (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Hornsby S. will play against Bankstown B. (#9) in Condell Park and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game was played in Greensborough where Mt Gambier (#3) beat host Diamond VE (#2) 93-87 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Diamond Valley Eagles. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of TiLan Boler who helped to win the game recording 30 points. At the losing side Abbey Ellis responded with 30 points and 5 rebounds. Mt Gambier have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Diamond Valley Eagles dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with Eltham W. and Southern T.. Mt Gambier will meet at home Ballarat M. (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Diamond VE will play against Geelong U. and hope to secure a win.

C.Coast C. was rolled over Albury in a home game 64-107. Maitland lost to undefeated Sutherland on the road 54-73. Norths B. smashed Bankstown B. on its own court 113-61. Penrith won against Inner WB in a road game 58-49. Hills H. lost to undefeated Manly Warr. SE at home 52-85. Knox R. recorded a loss to Bendigo on the opponent's court 80-86. Waverley F. defeated Hobart C. in a home game 86-76. Ballarat M. beat Melbourne T. on the road 90-77. Winless Geelong U. lost to undefeated Mt Gambier on its own court 82-87. Eltham W. outscored Dandenong R. in a road game 94-63. Keilor T. managed to beat Northern Force at home 84-69. Winless Dandenong R. was crushed by Knox R. on the opponent's court 86-66. Ringwood beat Northern Force in a home game 87-69. Frankston B. lost to Casey on the road 69-75. Nunawading S. managed to outperform Waverley F. on its own court 83-73. Winless Hobart C. lost to undefeated Kilsyth in a road game 77-83. Diamond VE defeated Sandringham S. at home 84-66. Eltham W. smashed Ringwood on the opponent's court 100-73. Ringwood lost to undefeated Nunawading S. in a home game 82-86. Winless Kalamunda ES unfortunately lost to Mandurah on the road 64-82. Winless Joondalup W. lost to undefeated Cockburn on its own court 73-92. Rockingham F. crushed SW Slammers in a road game 90-64. Warwick S. lost to undefeated East Perth E. at home 80-85. Winless Willetton T. lost to Perth R. on the opponent's court 102-113.

Everything could happen in Flinders Park at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Warriors and 5th ranked Lions had identical 1-2 record. This time Warriors used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Gawler 82-69 on Saturday night. Woodville W. forced 20 C.Districts L. turnovers. Southern T. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mavericks's 34 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Mollie McKendrick (183-1993, college: Boston U.) who helped to win the game recording 38 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and American forward Holly Forbes (178-1998, college: UT Martin) who added 17 points and 13 rebounds during the contest.
