Vancouver Bandits (CEBL) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 34-year-old Australian international 196cm swingman Mitch Creek. It is actually his comeback to Bandits as he has played here before. He played most recently at U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca in Romanian Liga Nationala. He managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in four different competitions that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 10 Liga Nationala games, he recorded very impressive stats: 18.5ppg, 5.2rpg, and 1.9apg. Creek helped them to win the league title and the Supercup. He also played 19 games in Eurocup where he was the league's fifth-best scorer with a remarkable 17.7ppg and had 4.1rpg and 2.1apg. Creek contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals. A great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Eurocup Second Team. And finally, he contributed to 26 games in ABA League where he averaged high stats: 16.6ppg, 4.0rpg, and 2.2
He has also been a member of the Australian international program for some years. Creek has regularly played for the Australian senior team since 2017 and previously for the Under 22 National Team in 2015.
Thanks to Creek's pro career, he has played on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and North America) in ten different countries. Creek has played previously in China (Flying Tigers), Germany (BG Goettingen), Puerto Rico (Atleticos and Mets), Turkey (Trabzonspor), NBA (Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves), Australia (Adelaide 36ers, Spectres, Noarlunga City Southern Tigers, Australian Institute of Sport, and South Adelaide Panthers), NBA G League (Long Island Nets), The Basketball Tournament (Money Team), and NBA Summer League (Minnesota Timberwolves). He is a very experienced player.
He received the USBasket.com All-CEBL League Player of the Year award and the USBasket.com All-CEBL League Forward of the Year award in 2025.

NBL1 Round 13 (Regular Season): #1 BA CoE is defeated by Manly Warr.
24 year old American guard Will Johnston was the top scorer of the day in the world.
