Group AAustralia - Marshall Islands 166-3Australia did not notice Marshall Islands en route to the second victory in Guam. Madeline Puli (186-C-00) posted 27 points to lead the winners. Australia grabbed a 85:0 halftime lead and never looked back on the way to the victory. Miela Goodchild (175-G/F-00) had 25 points in the win. Tamara Andrike (157-G-01) replied with 3 points for Marshall Islands. Tahiti - Samoa 41-90 Samoa recorded the second victory at the tournament. They outgunned Tahiti to stay perfect in Group A. Frances Ropati (00) and Latorya Ropati (00) came up with 21 points each to lead the winners. Samoa grabbed a 44:15 halftime lead. They maintained the advantage throughout the second half and coasted to the win. Sommer Motufoua (00) had 18 points in the victory. Mahinetea Tavanae (03) responded with 15 points for Tahiti. Group BPalau - Guam 34-96Guam topped Palau to improve at 1-1 record in Group B. Mia San-Nicolas (01) recorded 24 points and 18 rebounds in the win. Guam established a 63:3 halftime advantage. Guam kept their opponents at bay throughout the second half and raced to the win. Elysia Perez (00) had 18 points in the victory. Kristen Sugiyama (02) responded with 16 points and 19 rebounds for Palau. New Zealand - New Caledonia 110-31 New Zealand outgunned New Caledonia for the second win in a row in Group B. Charlotte Whittaker (187-F-00) and Lauryn Hippolite (174-G-00) produced 16 points each for the winning side. New Zealand accumulated a 65:19 halftime lead. They limited New Caledonia to just 12 points in the second half and rallied to the victory. Tsubasa Nisbet (181-F-00) had 15 points in the win. Cassandree Canaldo (170-SF-00) responded with 7 points for New Caledonia. |
