Franklin Bulls (NBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American 198cm forward
Lee Skinner (college:
Wofford). Skinner moved there from
Anorthosis in Cypriot OPAP Basket League. In 28 games he recorded 12.6ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the Supercup final. They also advanced to the league semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Honorable Mention. The last season he played at
Karhubasket in Finnish Korisliiga. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 44 Finnish Korisliiga games he averaged 10.7ppg, 5.7rpg and 2.1apg. Skinner contributed to his team winning the regular season and make it to the final. He also played 16 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 7.6ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg. Skinner contributed to his team making it to the FIBA Europe Cup Semifinals. He also played 1 game in Basketball Champions League where he got 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal.
Skinner is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Austria, Slovakia (Inter Bratislava), Czech Republic (Kolin) and The Basketball Tournament (Showtime and Showtime). His team won SoCon Tournament in 2014 and 2015.
Among many awards he was selected to Eurobasket.com Czech Republic League All-Imports Team back in 2021.
Skinner graduated from Wofford College in 2016 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
