During the 2024-25 season, he split time between Tochigi Brex and Veltex in Japan.
He has also been a member of the New Zealand international program for some years. Delany has regularly played for the New Zealand senior team since 2014 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2014.
He also represented New Zealand at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Piraeus (Greece) two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 5.5 points per game and had 8.5 rebounds per game.
Delany is a very experienced player, having played in seven different countries on four continents during his pro basketball career. He has played in Germany, Serbia, Spain, New Zealand, the NBA Summer League, and The Basketball Tournament. Delany's team reached the Japanese Final Four in 2026.
Among many awards, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Basketball Champions League Asia Forward of the Year in 2025.
He attended Southwest Baptist University until 2015 and it will be his twelfth season in pro basketball.
