Homentmen Beirut (LBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old New Zealander-Kenyan ex-international 211cm center Yuat Alok (college: NM State). He played recently at Al Morog in Libyan D1 league. He also played for Mighty Barrolle (LBA D1) in Liberian league. Alok was a member of New Zealand Senior National Team back in 2019.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Alok's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in six different countries. Alok has played previously professionally in Croatia (Alkar), Cyprus, Dominican Republic (Marineros), Lebanon (Centrale) and The Basketball Tournament (Rise and Grind and JUCOproducts).
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in Libyan League Group 2 in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Croatian Premijer Liga All-Imports Team in 2024.
Alok graduated from New Mexico State University in 2022 and it is his third season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Coppin State University, University of Central Florida, Texas Christian University, Chipola College.
