The round was exceptionally exciting as four games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Forestville Eagles as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Forestville Eagles defeated 3rd placed Woodville Warriors in Goodwood 86-72. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Forestville Eagles looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Greg Mays (203-1993, college: Green Bay) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Adam Doyle (176-1991) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Jawan Stepney (192-1995, college: CWU) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Woodville Warriors' coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forestville Eagles have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 3 other teams. Woodville Warriors at the other side keep the third place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Woodville Warriors will play next round against Sturt Sabres trying to get back on the winning streak. Forestville Eagles will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Norwood Flames in Marden.
Undefeated Hume City Broncos (7-1) recorded its first loss in Tullamarine. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Melbourne Uni (5-2) 107-91. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Hume City Broncos. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Joel Rimes (196) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds. Stefan Pomasan contributed with 23 points and 6 assists for the winners. American point guard Christopher Elder (180-1989, college: St.Francis, IL) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds for Hume City Broncos. Hume City Broncos' coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Melbourne Uni moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Hume City Broncos at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. They share it with BA CoE. Melbourne Uni will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hume City Broncos will play at home against Steelers and hope to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Taigum between Northside Wizards and Rip City. Seventh ranked Northside Wizards (4-2) got a very close home victory over 5th ranked Rip City (3-2). Northside Wizards managed to escape with a 1-point win 92-91 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rip City. Andrew White III stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. At the losing side Kouat Noi responded with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Northside Wizards moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Rip City dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Northside Wizards will meet at home Roar (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rip City will play against the league's second-placed Thunder (#2) and hope to secure a win.

There was no surprise in Melbourne where 8th ranked Vikings (2-6) were defeated by sixth ranked Cougars (4-4) 90-77 on Saturday. Cougars dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Vikings' 38. Cougars had a 39-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Sharif Black (185-1996, college: Bemidji St.) stepped up and scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Nathan Davis (193-1998, college: Seton Hill) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Denzel Brito (185-1991, college: Loyola, MD) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Edward Bourke produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Five Cougars and four Vikings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cougars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 4-4 record, which they share with Maitland M. Vikings lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with six games lost.
