Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 25 in the Big V took place in Perth. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Buccaneers (11-4) to eighth ranked Senators (8-7) 95-94 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Buccaneers. Senators made 31-of-35 free shots (88.6 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Buccaneers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Caleb Davis (206-1995, college: SVSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). Guard Ethan Elliott (190-2004, college: Trinity Baptist) contributed with 30 points for the winners. Forward Isaac Gattorna-Hargrave (201-1999) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds for Buccaneers. Senators moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Cairns M. Buccaneers at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Hume City B.. Senators is looking forward to face league's leader Flames in Rockingham in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Buccaneers will play at home against Eagles and are hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in McKinnon. Sixth ranked Cougars (9-6) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Melbourne Uni (9-6) 95-94 in the fight for the fourth place. American guard Nathan Davis (193-1998, college: Seton Hill) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Mitchell Barry chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American Isaac Turner (190-1992, college: St.Vincent) responded with 32 points and 4 assists. Cougars moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 7 other teams including defeated Melbourne Uni. Cougars will play against higher ranked Devils (#3) in Werribee in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Melbourne Uni will play again on the road against Cougars in Keysborough and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Deng Deng came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for Ipswich Force in the defeat. Cairns Marlins moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Warwick S. Loser Ipswich Force keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Perth R. and Wyndham D.. Cairns Marlins will meet at home Townsville Heat (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ipswich Force will play against the league's leader Thunder (#1) in Loganholme and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Bendigo B. beat Eltham W. in a home game 91-84. Casey C. lost to Diamond V.E. on the road 81-96. Kilsyth C. outscored NW Tasmania on its own court 93-68. Ringwood H. recorded a loss to Melbourne T. in a road game 100-85. Waverley F. defeated Hobart C. at home 95-87. SW Slammers was smashed by Willetton T. on the opponent's court 119-89.
The most impressive performance of 25th round was 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by Adetomi Ayilara of Wyndham D..

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Hume City Broncos (11-4) beat 9th ranked Storm (3-10) in Bellarine 97-81 on Sunday. Hume City Broncos forced 19 Storm turnovers. The most exciting game of round 25 in the Big V took place in Perth. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Buccaneers (11-4) to eighth ranked Senators (8-7) 95-94 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Buccaneers. Senators made 31-of-35 free shots (88.6 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Buccaneers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Caleb Davis (206-1995, college: SVSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). Guard Ethan Elliott (190-2004, college: Trinity Baptist) contributed with 30 points for the winners. Forward Isaac Gattorna-Hargrave (201-1999) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Malik Meunier (185-1999) added 22 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Buccaneers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Senators moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Cairns M.
