There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in NBL One. The round was exceptionally exciting as five games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

BA CoE smashed Bruins in Canberra 89-63. BA CoE dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Bruins's 36. BA CoE outrebounded Bankstown B. 51-38 including 26 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when BA CoE made 7 blocks. Guard Isabel Smith (176-2009) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 8 assists. Forward Zara Russell (185-2007) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Kiahna Davis-White replied with 17 points and 8 rebounds for Bankstown B.Bruins' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Warriors in Woodville. Visitors were rolled over by Bearcats 104-64. Swingman Chloe Hodges (183, college: Drexel) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Coco Hodges chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Naomi Allotey responded with 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bearcats will play against Forestville E. in Goodwood in the next round where they are favorite. Warriors will play at home against Sturt S. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game was also tough home loss of Ballarat M. in a game in Wendouree versus undefeated Diamond VE 84-74. Abbey Ellis notched a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds by Camille Hobby did not help to save the game for Ballarat Miners. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
