The round was exceptionally exciting as seven games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for fourteenth-ranked Pioneers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Pioneers edged much higher ranked Raiders in Melbourne 111-108. Mt.Gambier looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Collin Moore (193-2001, college: GCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import power forward Lucas Gordon (206-2004, college: Redlands, agency: 0z Sports Agency) helped adding 22 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side the former international point guard Tad Dufelmeier (183-1996, college: CUI) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Knox R. at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. They share the position with Nunawading S.. Knox R. will play next round against Northern Force trying to get back on the winning streak. Mt.Gambier will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Hobart C. at home.
Undefeated Excellence (5-1) recorded its first loss in Wollongong. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Hawks (6-1) 107-95. It was an exceptional evening for the former international swingman Todd Blanchfield (198-1991) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Mason Peatling accounted for 32 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Alexander Dickeson (191-2007) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for BA CoE in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hawks have a solid series of four victories in a row. Illawarra H. 2 moved-up to second place, which they share with Manly Warr. and Kalamunda ES. BA CoE at the other side keeps the fifth position with one game lost. Illawarra H. 2 will play against Inner WB (#7) in Inner West in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BA CoE will play at home against Cent.Coast C. and hopes to get back on the winning track.

S.Adelaide P. will meet at home Eastern M. (#6) in the next round. Woodville W. will play against Southern T. and hope to secure a win.

Quite upsetting was Woodville W.'s home defeat in a game versus S.Adelaide P. 107-97. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Woodville Warriors. South Adelaide Panthers dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Woodville Warriors' 36. South Adelaide Panthers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American swingman Kaden Archie (198-2000, college: Georgia South) chipped in 25 points. Archie is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Forward Deng Manyang (201-2007) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Clayton Jewell (206-2004, college: CMU) added 12 points and 15 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. N.Adelaide R. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated C.District L.. C.District L. lost their third game in a row. N.Adelaide R. will meet at home league's second-placed Forestville E. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
