Basquet Mallorca (LEB Gold) added to their roster 25-year old Fiji former international guard Marques Whippy (196-G-86). He just graduated BYU-Hawaii. It was a very good season in his career as he helped his team to make it all the way to the NCAA D2 Final. He was also voted All-PacWest Player of the Year. Whippy is a member of Fiji national team and has a Cotonou status, which comes quite handy in some European leagues as the players with Cotonou status are not considered imports. It will be his first pro season.
