The round was exceptionally exciting as four games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 21 games in the State League were marked by very close results. The first upset was a home defeat of 6th ranked Hawks (5-4) to fifth ranked Giants (6-3) 74-62. Strangely Hawks outrebounded Giants 46-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. Guard Jesse Ghee (183, college: Fullerton JC) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and American forward Hussayn Ford (198, college: Northwest) chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Andrew Ferguson (213-1998, college: CS Monterey) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Giants maintains fifth place in League with 6-3 record. Hawks at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Important game to mention about took place in Maitland. Eighth ranked Mustangs (5-5) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Bandits (5-5) 90-89 in the game for the sixth place. New Zealand center James Hunter (208-1991, college: S.Dakota) nailed 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Sharif Watson accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds. Mustangs' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Naturalized Swiss center Hamish Warden (203-1999, college: NDC) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for Bandits in the defeat. Mustangs moved-up to sixth place in League. Mustangs will play against Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (#10) in Narrabeen in the next round. Bandits will play at home against Sutherland Sharks and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Camberwell - Hume City B. 91-93

A very close game took place in Melbourne between Hume City Broncos and Camberwell. Fifth ranked Hume City Broncos (6-5) got a very close victory on the road over 4th placed Camberwell (6-6). Hume City Broncos managed to escape with a 2-point win 93-91 in the fight for the fourth place. Hume City Broncos made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Crusaders outrebounded Hills Hornets 47-28 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Benjamin Kearins (188, agency: BIG) who scored 16 points and 8 assists. Liam Moss chipped in 18 points. Four Hills Hornets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Callum Jenkins who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Aaron Redhead added 8 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively. Crusaders' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hills Hornets moved-up to eighth place in League. Loser Crusaders dropped to the ninth position with six games lost.
