The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Rollers as it allowed them to take a leadership position in League. Rollers smashed bottom-ranked Brisbane Spartans in Gold Coast 126-69. Rollers dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Brisbane Spartans' 38 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Rollers forced 21 Brisbane Spartans turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Preston Le Gassick (182-2003) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Tanner Krebs (198-1996, college: St.Mary's, CA) helped adding 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.
