The best player for the winners was American forward Jamaal Brantley (200-1993, college: Cameron) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) chipped in 22 points. Brantley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Samson Froling (212-2000, college: Creighton) who recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Tyler Harvey (194-1993, college: EWU) added 22 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. New Zealand Breakers have an impressive five-game winning streak. American guard Antonius Cleveland (196-1994, college: SEMO) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Robert Franks (201-1996, college: WSU) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Brazilian-American center Tim Soares (211-1997, college: Master's) with 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American Justin Simon (196-1996, college: St.John's) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Adelaide 36ers and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Adelaide 36ers maintains eighth position with 13-15 record. Defending champion Kings still keep top place with nine games lost.
