The round was exceptionally exciting as four games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Forestville Eagles as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Forestville Eagles smashed 8th ranked Eastern Mavericks in Goodwood 93-67. Forestville E. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Eastern Mavericks's 36 and made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. Forestville E. outrebounded Eastern M. 46-25 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forestville E. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Daniel Johnson (212-1988, college: Pepperdine) who scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Greg Mays (203-1993, college: Green Bay) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward BJ Symons (-1998, agency: Dominion Sports Group) who recorded 26 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Forestville Eagles (11-1) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with C.District L. Eastern M. lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Norwood F.. Eastern M. will play next round against strong Woodville W. trying to get back on the winning streak. Forestville E. will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Woodville W. in Flinders Park.
Top ranked Excellence (13-3) recorded its third loss in Wollongong. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Hawks (10-3) 102-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Excellence. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. It was a good game for the former international swingman Todd Blanchfield (198-1991) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 5 assists. Lachlan Dent contributed with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Hawks' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Alexander Dickeson (191-2007) replied with 27 points and 7 rebounds for BA CoE. Hawks have an impressive six-game winning streak. Illawarra H. 2 moved-up to second place, which they share with Sydney C. and Willetton T. BA CoE at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Illawarra H. 2 will play against Inner WB (#14) in Inner West in the next round which should be another easy win for them. BA CoE will play at home against Cent.Coast C. (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Melbourne between Raiders and Pioneers. First ranked Raiders (13-2) got a very close home victory over second-best Pioneers (10-5). Raiders managed to escape with a 1-point win 106-105 in the fight for the first place. Worth to mention a great performance of Brayon Blake who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Titus Robinson with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Raiders have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Knox R. maintains first position with 13-2 record. Loser Pioneers keeps the second place with five games lost. They share the position with Hobart C.. Knox R. will meet NW Tasmania (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Mt.Gambier will play against Melbourne T. (#5) and hope to secure a win.

Bankstown B. lost to Illawarra H. 2 in Wollongong 100-112. Sutherland managed to outperform Maitland at home 87-75. Canberra B. rolled over Penrith on the opponent's court 96-64. Ipswich F. was defeated by Logan T. in a home game 87-90. SD Spartans were beaten by Townsville H. on the road 103-95. Northside W. lost to SC Phoenix on its own court 68-85. SD Spartans managed to outperform Cairns M. in Brisbane 104-90. Mackay managed to beat SW Metro P. at home 95-89. SW Metro P. defeated Rockhampton on the opponent's court 106-100.
