The round was exceptionally exciting as four games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
There was a change at the NBL One leadership position after last games. Round 14 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Phoenix (7-3). They were crushed by second ranked Capitals (7-2) 114-79 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Phoenix. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Brisbane C. dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Phoenix's 28. Brisbane C. forced 19 SC Phoenix turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by SC Phoenix's players. Guard Isaih Tueta (187-1991) had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Nigerian guard Uche Dibiamaka (193-1999, college: St.Edward's) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized Maltese power forward Nelson Kahler (206-1994, college: CSU-Pueblo, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds.
