Papua New Guinea finished their Pacific Youth Championships campaign with victory. They overcame Samoan counterparts to end up in the seventh position. Renagi Fred posted 17 points and 15 boards in the victory.

Maggie Evo'O accounted for 15 points, while Marrina Boino provided 14 points in the win. Janice Moke answered with 16 points and 10 rebounds for Samoa. Leilani Tafili had 10 points in the loss.

New Caledonia registered the victory today at the Pacific Youth Championship. They overcame Papua New Guinea to secure the fight versus Tahiti for the fifth overall position tomorrow. Papua New Guinea will face Samoa for the 7th position.
Papua New Guinea got to a confident start. They recorded a 14:5 lead after the starting quarter. New Caledonia recovered well in the second term. They went on a 24:10 rally to secure a 29:24 halftime advantage

New Caledonia registered the victory today at the Pacific Youth Championship. They overcame Papua New Guinea to secure the fight versus Tahiti for the fifth overall position tomorrow. Papua New Guinea will face Samoa for the 7th position. Papua New Guinea got to a confident start. They recorded a 14:5 lead after the starting quarter. New Caledonia recovered well in the second term. They went on a 24:10 rally to secure a 29:24 halftime advantage. New Caledonia boosted the lead to as many as 15 points at the final intermission. New Caledonia kept their opponents at bay throughout the final stanza and sealed the win at the end. Allissonne Laukau notched 20 points and 24 rebounds for New Caledonia. Melissa Chaliot provided 12 points for the winners. Maggie EvoO responded with 12 points for Papua New Guinea. Rosa Kairi banked 11 points in defeat.
