It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Wildcats. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Nunawading S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Nunawading S. keeps a position of league leader. Eltham W. at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Knox R.. Nunawading S. will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Casey in Cranbourne.
Top ranked Raiders (7-3) recorded its third loss in Melbourne. Hosts were defeated by sixteenth ranked Northern Force (2-7) 101-94. The former international guard Kye Savage (186-2005) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
