The round was exceptionally exciting as seven games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 11 in NBL One means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Cairns where host Marlins (7-0) beat league's leader Rollers (7-2) 103-98 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Rollers. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Kody Stattmann (202-2000, college: Virginia) who scored 45 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. Naturalized New Zealand power forward Luca Yates (208-2004, college: Barry) chipped in 16 points and 15 rebounds. American guard Jimmy Whitt (190-1997, college: Arkansas) produced 43 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the guests. Undefeated Marlins have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Cairns M. keeps a position of league leader. Gold Coast R. at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by BA CoE. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Wildcats as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Rollers) loss. Wildcats smashed 16th ranked Diamond Valley Eagles in Eltham 105-83. The former international guard Mitchell McCarron (189-1992, college: MSU Denver) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Harrison Hornery contributed with 24 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Mirko Djeric (193-1995) answered with 4 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for Diamond V.E.Diamond Valley Eagles' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Wildcats. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Melbourne T. Diamond V.E. at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Mandurah and Lakeside L.. Diamond V.E. will play next round against Waverley F. trying to get back on the winning streak. Eltham W. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Forestville Eagles (10-2) in Park Holme on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by South Adelaide Panthers (10-2) 86-84. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Forestville Eagles. It was a key game for the top position in the league.
