There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in NBL One. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game of round 17 was a home defeat of their close opponent Canberra N. (9-11) to seventh ranked Maitland (10-10) 74-67 in the game for the seventh place. Mustangs outrebounded Nationals 44-24 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Kasey Neubert (185, college: San Diego) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and her fellow American import forward Sydney Hunter (183-1999, college: San Diego) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Callie Bourne (175, college: Idaho St.) responded with 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Maitland maintains seventh place with 10-10 record. Canberra N. lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Inner WB. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Important game to mention about took place in Canberra. Seventh ranked Mustangs (10-10) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked BA CoE (12-8) 49-48 on Sunday evening. American forward Sydney Hunter (183-1999, college: San Diego) nailed 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Kasey Neubert accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds. Mustangs' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Aspen Crase came up with 8 points and 10 rebounds for BA CoE in the defeat. Maitland maintains seventh place with 10-10 record. BA CoE at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Thunder (16-6) against twelfth ranked Spectres (10-12) on Saturday night. Visiting Thunder was defeated by Spectres in a tough game in East Burwood 69-75. The best player for the winners was Shaneice Swain who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Penina Davidson produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the guests. Nunawading S. maintains twelfth place with 10-12 record. Keilor T. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the third position with six games lost. They share it with Dandenong R. and Waverley F.. We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Adelaide where 6th ranked Panthers (8-10) were defeated by seventh ranked Flames (8-10) 89-75 on Saturday. Norwood F. made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Norwood F. outrebounded S.Adelaide P. 57-45 including a 41-28 advantage in defensive rebounds.
