20-year old center Lauren Scherf (195-C-96) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Dandenong R. and receives a Australiabasket.com State League Player of the Week award for round 14. She had a double-double of 31 points and 18 rebounds, while her team beat Nunawading S. (#3, 5-7) 85-75. Dandenong R. maintains the 2nd position in their group in Australian league. Big V Bulleen B. - Warrandyte V. 98-51 No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Boomers (8-4) crushed 11th ranked Venom (2-12) in Bulleen 98-51 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Boomers. Venom was better in fourth quarter 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
